We were on vacation in Mauritius and spontaneously decided to take a diving course. And we are really glad that we did it!

I had the opportunity to earn my OWD certification in Mauritius with Sam as my dive instructor. He was very safety-conscious, which is why I had complete confidence in him even when the waves were quite rough. We had wonderful dives, and Sam took all the time we needed. When Bruno joined us to film, we saw a sea turtle and lionfish, among other things. It was an experience I’ll remember forever.

Great place to dive, lots to see as you are going allow the reefs with coral as different fish and sealife with a chance even of a turtle.
Equipment is in good condition and very good instructions throughout.
There is also flexibility, as if conditions are not suitable on that side of the island there was an option to head north, it would have been a bit more expensive because of having to rent a boat, but still…

I chose to do a PADI open water course as part of my holiday to Mauritius. We were staying at the “Sunrise Attitude” at Belle Mare beach. I contacted the hotel prior to our holiday, and they put me in contact with Sam (instructor). Sam then contacted me and provided me with all the information. I had a great time diving with Krys. Safe and knowledgable but still relaxed. It was very convenient diving at Belle Mare with several very nice dive sites just outside the reef with beautiful fish and corals, Seeing a turtle during one of the dives was magical, The wreck dive was cool and the drift dive was a new experience. Had a great dive with Sam!! :) He is very patient and a very experienced and calm diver. He always gives you the feeling that you are safe and can trust him. I wish I had done my Padi with him back then as he is so patient and approachable.
Equipment is also great, Dive Spot Castle was very nice and full of life.
A clear recommendation, I will be back.
