Reefs, walls and wrecks off Belle Mare
Every site below is a short boat ride from our base on Mauritius's east coast — matched to your dives and certification on the day.

Coral Garden
Shallow coral bommies scattered across white sand, home to lionfish, butterflyfish and juvenile reef species. A relaxed, colourful dive that suits new divers and photographers alike.

The Aquarium
A sheltered lagoon site so thick with reef fish it earns its name — moray eels, snapper and fusiliers move through the coral in constant motion.

Castle
Also known as Boulder Reef. Granite boulders draped in soft coral create swim-throughs and overhangs, with big schools of fusiliers hanging in the current above them.

The Drop Off
Where Belle Mare's reef gives way to open water. Turtles cruise the wall, rays pass over the sand below, and the visibility out here is some of the best on the coast.

Sea Fan Valley
A canyon lined with sea fans and soft coral, cut through by a gentle drift. One for divers who want texture and colour over depth.

Wranglap
Fishing troller wreck off the east coast near Belle Mare (also spelled Raunglap or Ruang Lap No. 8; sometimes called Stella). Colonised by coral and reef fish, with swim-throughs for divers comfortable with overhead environments and current.
